So at the beginning of the week I felt a bump on the anterior wall of my vaginal canal. No I don’t mean my cervix. I feels like something is poking my wall and I’m 95% sure it’s not a growth.
I went to my OB, concerned my IUD may have escaped my uterus. They didn’t see, feel or even look for the bump, but commented that they couldn’t see or feel my strings. They scheduled me for a ultrasound for a week later.
Well I have chronic anxiety and a picking problem, so I knew I wasn’t gonna be able to leave it alone, especially since it feels like if I messed with it I could poke a hole in the wall and get it out.
So I went to the ER who did a same day ultrasound and confirmed my IUD was where it should be. They both felt and saw the bump, agreed it was weird and told me to go back to the OB.
I went back to the OB and they took out the IUD and couldn’t see or find the bump. I was relieved, but then discovered the bump is still there.
Now I had a cesarean back in December of 2021 and I’m worried something may have been left behind. I’m TRYING to ignore it because I don’t know WHAT to do now. Do I go back to the OB? Do I go to a surgeon?
What do I do??
