Second period this month, and its way heavier than normal
Post Body

I'm going to preface this with, I might just be anxious and overreacting to something that might be normal, I'm just worried because it's fairly abnormal as far as my usual periods go. As the title says. So my first period this month was a little atypical- I typically get them around the beginning of the month, but it's usually solidly within the next month, they tend to be extremely regular. I got my first one on the 4th (normal time frame for me to get them, generally it's between the 2nd and the 5th that I'll get it) and it ended around the 9th, which was mildly surprising to me, since they usually last 7-9 days. It was also much lighter than normal- I have a super heavy flow usually, and have to use super tampons and pads (when I can find them, stores never seem to stock anything more absorbent than a super ): ). Well, the other day it came again, and I thought it was odd that it came early, but didn't think much of it, though it was kind of heavy right off the bat which is abnormal for me, since they usually are light on the first day. And it's gotten heavier- I'm bleeding through my pads in an hour, and I feel really exhausted and lightheaded if it's relevant. I'm also passing a lot of large clots, though this has started happening a LOT in my recent periods, and it's really gross and uncomfortable for me. Other information I think might be relevant: I'm 22, I'm trans, so I've been on and off testosterone in the past (financially struggling, which is why I've been on and off) and I haven't been on it for around a year (though excitingly now that I've moved and have a stable income I'll be able to go on it again!!). But I know that affects periods, and though I've been off of it for this long, I brought it up in case it could be a factor. Medical conditions or physical ailments I have are asthma, GERD, IBS, 2 herniated discs in my back, and mild central sleep apnea (years ago when I had my sleep study, they think it was possibly being caused by acid reflux). Not that most of that is particularly relevant, but added in case it was needed info. So... Am I just overreacting and anxious, or should I be worried because it's so much heavier than normal? Is there anything worrying here? Thank you for reading, and TIA!!!
