Realistically, What’s the deal with Covid right now?
Post Body

The pandemic isn’t over just because we’re over it, but are we reaching endemic at all? The state of emergency is being lifted but are the new variants as dangerous as they have been? When will it be okay not to be worrying about this anymore?

I have been back to mostly “normal” at this point. I still wear a mask to places with many strangers, and on public transportation because I enjoy not getting sick in general, but I’m okay without in open spaces, with friends and family, outside events, etc.

I just wonder when I won’t be anxious and worrying about getting covid for big life events like weddings, or travel plans. Realistically, how should we be dealing with this now? Is it safe to test positive and go to events masked?

I’m so sick of dealing with this, as I’m sure we all are.
