I have left sided kidney pain since 7 days and no other symptoms. My urine looks and smells normal. I have no personal or family history of kidney problems.
One week before the symptoms started I added 300g of broccoli and 300g of oranges to my diet. These are rich in oxalates. I also take 25mg of zinc and multivitamin daily.
My doctor looked at the urine but said the red and white blood cells were in the normal range. He also said that the pain probably comes from the kidneys but had no idea what caused it.
Now I wonder if this could be kidney stones or kidney infection or something else. I'm unsure because I have no other symptoms other than the kidney pain.
I would appreciate if you could share your ideas for what could be the cause of the pain and how likely it will go away on its own, or if I have to change something in my diet or something?
Thanks!
