I (35/F) have had a reoccurring headache for about 4 weeks now that has progressively getting worse over time. The point of pain center under my right eye socket and radiates to my right temple, right ear, into my teeth/gums and down into my neck. My eye has been feeling pressure and blurry vision has occurred. I have been to the ER 3 times: first time they told me it was a sinus infection and put me on an antibiotic. 2nd time they did CT, found a mucus filled cyst in my right sinus and referred me to ENT. ENT did a scope, found nothing notable and said the cyst wasn't the issue of my pain. They did put me on an oral steroid and prescription strength naproxen. 3rd time was last night. My pain was at a 9 (out of 10). They gave me torodol, 2 doses of fentanyl and an IV steroid. They also gave me Hydros to take home and referred me to neurology for further testing.
Anyone have any idea what could be causing this? I'm exhausted and tired of this excruciating pain. I am comfortable now but I am taking these pain meds regularly. Any advice or ideas or actions I can take aer greatly appreciated.
