Methotrexate for psoriasis
Post Body

Hey all so I have moderate to bad psoriasis on my face and scalp and recently after Covid it has gotten much worse. I normally keep it controlled with prescription ketoconazole cream and shampoo 2% but this is not effective for the latest severe flare up. My doctor has prescribed me 4 weekly doses of 15mg methotrexate which I am currently halfway through taking.

I am wondering how bad is this stuff for my body and is there anything I need to watch out for? So far it has helped a little but my scalp is still pretty bad. Any other suggestions for meds that might help?
