Catching up on shots this week and I have the option of getting a Gardasil vaccine.
Post Body

Im 16 and I got two shots today at my drs appointment. We discussed Gardasil and my family history of cervical cancer. They said this has been known to decrease fertility and i really really want kids and dont want to struggle when trying to get pregnant. Does anyone here have personal experience with having gotten the Gardasil vaccine and if so please comment

Okay update: I'm only 16, so I have until 26 to get this shot so I'm going to wait until I'm absolutely sure. I really dont think its necessary right at this time I'm not sexually active and neither is my boyfriend, both of us have relationship insecurities from our parents marriages and we will not be cheating or anything like that. If I think its necessary in the future I'll get it but I dont like the thought of it and the maybe in a few years there will be more research and knowledge on this vaccine. I am not anti vax so dont attack me. But I am careful with my body. Thank you to everyone who has commented.
