Post Body

To answer some of the general items:

  • 37 year old male.
  • Obese (6'4" / 360 lbs), though dropped 40 lbs in the last year and working on it the right way.
  • Meds are Uloric for gout, Lisinopril for blood pressure, and then just magnesium and B-vitamins for supplements. Tried CBD oil occasionally, but not often. The Uloric I've been on for 10 or so years, Lisinopril for maybe 5 . Supplements started maybe 4-6 months ago.
  • I did have anxiety and tried Buspar and Citalopram for a very, very short period of time in late October and early November (maybe 2-3 weeks max). I didn't like the way they made me feel I thought, so I discontinued them. In hindsight I don't know if it was related to the drugs or this unknown issue. Could have been both, who knows.

  • I've been having these issues nearly daily for maybe 2 months straight, and somewhat before that possibly.
  • Generally first thing in the morning I have zero, or very minimal symptoms. I wake up and generally feel OK. Come 1-3 hours later, it all starts.
  • Generally I have a dull headache. Not stabbing or throbbing. But almost as if my head were a balloon and someone had just started to expand it a little bit while blowing it up.
  • I have a relatively constant eye pain behind my right eye. Some days it is relatively bad and "painful" to the touch. Other days I barely notice it, if at all. Many mornings I will wake up with a yellow pus coming from it. Almost like sleep, but much more of it.
  • I have neck pain. Generally kind of either base of the neck or to the right side below my ear.
  • I have occasional facial tingling or burning. Sometimes my cheeks will get flushed.
  • Lately I've had mild nausea. Never close to throwing up though.
  • My right ear sometimes feels like it has some minor pressure. Not like truly clogged or anything, but some pressure.
  • I often have "unsteadiness" or lightheadedness that hits me during the day. Will relax slightly at night, then again, gone first thing in the morning until it fires up again.
  • Any head pain is generally on the right side of my head. Towards right temple, or on bad days upper right above temple/ear.
  • Sometimes at the end of longer walks (1-2 miles) I'll be more lightheaded than other times. Though I don't know if they are related.
  • Sometimes certain sounds will "zap" me.
  • Sometimes the unsteadiness feels like my eyes want to roll back in my head, like I'm tipping over in a chair.

  • I have seen my GP, who originally tried an antibiotic and steroids, thinking maybe sinuses were the cause.
  • I then went to the ENT who did a CT of my sinuses, which came back clear.
  • He did note a negative retraction in my eardrum, but hearing was largely fine, no sign of other related issues.
  • Supposed to get a referral to the neurologist hopefully.
  • Also scheduled for some balance tests in a few weeks.
  • Eye doctor appointment tomorrow.

Honestly this has been kind of depressing for me. I'm working through the process, seeing doctors and whatnot, so trust me, Reddit is not my substitute for a doctor at all. But I'm so frustrated and down at the moment that I'm just trying anything I can to be quite honest.

Thanks.
