Hello, so last night I fell on some stairs and hit my tailbone pretty hard, and afterwards I was in so much pain I threw up. I had a conversation with a nurse this morning and she said I didn't need to go in but instead treat the injury at home. However, I unfortunately have a flight to go to my grandma's funeral tomorrow, then a long car ride to get to the location, and I have severe pain whenever I am sitting down. The nurse said I should take Ibuprofen before the flight, and bring a doughnut pillow to sit on during and, if possible, an ice pack. Any recommendations on what else I should do?

Edit: and she thinks I just bruised my tailbone
