What “counts” as a tremor? What could it indicate?

Post Body
26F I have been experiencing a tremor/shaking of my left hand/arm for about a year now — it doesn’t go away — it gets worse with caffeine, lack of sleep, etc. — it’s isolated to ONLY my left side, and I’m wondering if 1. It’s actually a tremor because I’m not sure what gets classified as one? 2. I’m kind of worried because I’m undergoing testing for MS and I have a positive Hoffmann’s sign on only my left side as well. I didn’t realize tremors can relate to MS as well? Thanks for any info!
