Feeling extremely faint/weak during my period?

Post Body

26F, only GYN Hx is a functional cyst on my left ovary, I do not use any type of hormonal birth control - not sexually active. I started my period yesterday & today I had to leave work early because I felt like I was going to faint!! My boss & coworkers were all telling me I looked like I was about to fall over — it was awful. My period isn’t abnormally heavy, at least not in my opinion, but the last few cycles it’s been making me feel this way; this time just happened to be the worst so far. It’s going to be a while before I get into my ob/gyn, so does anyone have any idea of what I can do to ease this?? Is there a way to ease up the period flow and lain that makes me feel so weak? I can’t afford to miss work just because I’m on my period :/
