I take injectable L-carnitine in my gluteus every other day from a reputable source and I always use clean new needles and wipe the area clean.
I also pull the syringe up to make sure I don’t suck up any blood and making sure the needle is intramuscular.
This last time it was a bit odd situation as I was stressed out and in a rush and wasn’t as cautious and something may have been going wrong.
Now it’s been 7 days since injection and the injection site is a bit hard on the surface. No fever. A lot of pain when touching the area. The area is approximately 4cm / 1,5” wide and was not even visible until I noticed 2 days later.
Seems like there’s an internal bleeding of some kind? I have never experienced anything similar and I’ve done this for 13 years.
