Doctor said I shouldn’t be concerned… MCH 26, MCV 78. Normal hemoglobin.
Post Body

I went to a new primary today. I expressed concern over iron deficiency as I had it in the last year, and on a CBC my MCH was 26, and my MCV was 78. they said they aren’t concerned as my hemoglobin is normal. I am concerned since I’m exhausted, bruising, hair loss, weight gain…. She tested my iron on my request- a bit hesitant but- it would appear I’m correct in my concerns? Is this considerably low iron? I’ve been taking 130mg of iron tablets at night the last 3 days prior to this test- so this is while I’m taking iron supplements…. Also the %sat is TSAT.
