Hi, I have a question about a coroners report regarding my mother. She committed suicide in January this year. I've only just read the report.
I stayed in her room after her death and quickly discovered her housemate/ex/abusive pimp (god i dont know) was using and from the smells and my physical reaction (im aussie, unfortunately i have accidentally gone into a cook house before and have ADD the immediate focus sets my radar off)cooking meth in the home.
I suppose my question is, based on the numbers is it likely she ingested/metabolised the drug from exposure and not actually doing it? The report says 0.02mg/L at time of death for methamphetamine and 0.01mg/L at time of death for amphetamine. I am aware of her taking ecstasy, however she always tested it and vehemently refused to do meth but didnt judge others for it.
I saw her a week before her death and she was acting normal, a bit emotional but thats always been her, no scabs, acne or discolouration to her skin or eyes, bit gaunt but she had abdominal chronic pain so again normal.
Eventually her mother and my sister will see this report, I just want to know if that level immediately indicates active use or not so i can deal with their reactions better.
Im sorry if this is the wrong sub, a helpful redirect would be appreciated if so, thanks y'all.
