Hi r/medical! I just did a urinalysis for my PEME and they found a trace of Proteinuria so I need to repeat the test to make sure I am fit to work. But I just realized that the day before I did the test, I pleasured my self and I remembered that semen contains protein. So I am thinking that maybe the protein from the semen is what appeared on their findings(?) But it could also be that I really have proteinuria and I am just looking for an excuse to not have that bec accdg. to my research it is not a good condition to have. If it matters, I did wash my privates after doing it the day before but I did not take a bath on the day I took the test. I hope y'all can help me with my question! TIA
