My insomnia has been really bad, but never this bad. Sunday through Wednesday night I only got about 2 hours of sleep Thursday night, last night I only got about an hour. I have ASD and ADHD (autism spectrum disorder) and usually am pretty high functioning, other people are noticing my symptoms getting worse.
Symptoms: (non ASD related I think?) —Feeling really drunk/ really high on cannabis— (I don’t drink nor have I smoked in a year and a half no other substances but nicotine) —Head bobs around without my really controlling it —eyes moving rapidly around for no real reason —really hard time communicating —uncomfortable in my body when still (like light electricity running in the arms and leg) (I’ve not experienced the amount of inability of stills nor the weird electric pain in my normal day to day life before) —nonstop body tremors —shaking legs when walking —losing my balance standing still/walking slow —forgetting what day it is, what I’m doing while I’m doing it, conversations as I’m having them, where I’m at —near complete inability to focus (about 80% more then usual) —extremely hard to do mundane tasks, like texting (I’ve never been so happy for autocorrect), eating, pretty much anything
Possible symptoms related to ASD but not at all usual to me normally: —unusual about of quietly ness (like not speaking at all, I’m never quiet) —nearly consistent humming (a droning humming that I just feels nice) —extreme sensitivity to sounds —aloofness —complete inability to comprehend jokes/some sentences/others emotion (vs only a slight confusion normally) —dissociation for long periods of time
If anyone can let me know if this is what stage or something and how bad this is for me, most common symptoms in that stage I should look out for.
While I know most sent as knowledgeable aboutASD them specialists if you have anyknowledge on the subject paired with sleep deprivation also add that
Thank you
