Tank size?
Post Body

Hey all!

Currently setting up a small nano tank (Fluval Flex 9 gallon) and I was wondering if people experienced with medaka think that’s enough for a small group in addition to shrimp (and maybe something like some Asian Stone Catfish down the line).

I’ve watched and read conflicting information regarding proper tank sizes for them, and people seem to mostly keep them in pots. Obviously bigger is always better, just wondering if it’s both doable physically and would still allow the fish to live well.

Tank has both an internal filter and additional sponge filter I’ve added. Will be heavily planted. Have Marimo balls in there atm, and more plants are arriving today.
