I just purchased 6 ricefish under the assumption (was told by an employee at a local store) that they could live comfortably in the Fluval Betta 2.6 gal tank, along with the snail we already have in the tank. (there is no betta in this tank.)

How screwed am I? er, How screwed would the fish be if I put them in? Should I return these?
There is no betta in this tank, currently we just have a snail.
