Questions about the mecop application and acceptance restrictions
Post Body
I don't know if this sub is still active or not, but I am a super-Sophomore CS major at OSU and looking to apply to mecop this February. I have a few general concerns/questions about the mecop acceptance and application process.
- Is the application something you can work on before February? I don't know if the application requires an essay and it would be awesome if I could work on it an perfect a couple months before I submit it.
- How strict are the GPA requirements? I've heard from multiple people that if you are above a 3.3ish you have a pretty good shot of getting in. I am a transfer student and have an extremely high gpa at OSU (3.96) but my combined gpa is 3.16. I screwed myself the first time I tried college and got academically suspended, but for the past year that I've been back in school I've maintained a GPA >3.95 every term.
Also any interview tips/application tips are welcomed. I just tend to get stressed out and worried over things like this. I just have a lot riding on this.
Thanks
