Looking to purchase a set of very well tuned stabilizers for some of my old keyboards. I’m blind, so when I attempt to lube my stabilizers I have a lot of trouble since I can’t really tell by site how much lube is on them. Since I have such a rough time, I’ve definitely had my fair share of ruining stabilizers by making the upstroke too gunky and stuff like that. That in mind, I wanted to simply purchase some really nice and well tuned stabilizers from the good people of Mac market.
I’m not super brand loyal, so any stabilizer set that you guys think you have tuned exceptionally well I will gladly take off your hands. I absolutely despise spacebar rattle, and that’s usually the biggest turn off of any high-end keyboard for me is if the stabilizer sets feel gunky or rattly. that is arguably one of the most important things to man keyboard, so whatever you guys think is best I will gladly take. And if any of you are local to the Bakersfield area, I would love to meet up and possibly even show you some of the keyboards and question that I have issues with to see if we could work something out. either way, I am after your stabilizers!
Please let me know if you guys have any to offer that you think are exceptionally well tuned, and shoot me a private message so we can discuss pricing. The price would obviously depend upon which stabilizer set was purchased and with which lube was used, so we can definitely talk about that in private messages if you guys would like. Please do not chat me however, because since I am blind I have to rely on screen readers, and the Reddit chat isn’t super accessible unfortunately.
I think possibly a good starting price would be close to $30, but I don’t really know what stabilizers go for nowadays so we will have to wait and see what we discuss privately. Thank you guys very much! Also, if you notice any strange typing errors, I’m using Siri to dictate this post, and she can be pretty terrible sometimes.
