How’s it going everyone? I have mechanics dilemma for you…
I’m a boat mechanic, which means that I’ve gotten really good at seeing just how complicated of a problem I can fix with the basic Amazon tool kit my company keeps on our boats. Ive picked up this unique skill because I work out of three different harbors and the boats are always a good 15 minute walk away from my car where I keep my tools, not to mention needing to haul a tool bag up and down a companionway every time I change boats.
My tool kit has to be light and mobile, and the wheeled Husky tool bag I bought from Home Depot has helped a lot, but I still struggle with keeping everything, particularly my sockets organized. So how do you guys keep a mobile toolkit organized? Are there any socket organizers you’d recommend to keep mine together in the bottom of a tool bag that goes from car trunk to potentially rocking boat every day?
I appreciate your help!
Ernst Manufacturing for socket organization. Made on the USA and very affordable.
