So I have. A v6 2018 Impala premiere. Has 65k on it just bought it certified last year. Anyway I was doing Uber today and suddenly my car started bogging down and kind of shuttering when I tried to accelerate. Engine light came on. Pulled over checked gas cap etc. Tried to get home and then it started flashing and my stabilitrack came on for a bit...then the flashing stopped and it just stayed on. I made it home and turned it off for a bit. Restarted it to see what it would do engine light still on but the rpms dropped almost like it was gonna die out. I really need this car...I just started a new job and can't get to work now. Have no cash to afford anything. Would it be safe to try to drive it to a mechanic? Or get it towed? I'm freaking out....have nobody to help me I just moved to a new city. Any help, ideas, diagnosis would be great!
