So just started at a dealership as an express lube tech for a car brand I’ve loved and worked on for years, fully rebuilding motors and doing swaps it’s a Japanese brand I won’t name the actual brand. I’m new to the game in my late 20s laid off from last job figured I’d try my hand at my dream of being a master tech for this brand car.
Now I was super stoked to land this entry level opportunity to earn my way up but come to find out the head express lube tech is a total negative SOB dude literally screams, yells, and gets mad over nothing and if your not doing things exactly how he thinks you should do then he’ll be on your ass all fucking day. I was soon to understand why this place was having trouble keeping express techs. They’re always short headed! Anyways, I don’t wanna give up but what advice would you give me for dealing with ppl like this? Dude has been a lube tech for over 4 years and thinks he’s the alpha omega of express lube 🙄
