I've used one of our tyre fitting machines today and its rotation is super weak. I could not put a tyre onto a rim with the assist arm and had to manually put the tyre on with levers. Note that the machine is in a mobile tyre van, and connected to an inverter.
I think there may be a problem with the electrical motor on the machine. It was very cold outside (0 deg) so perhaps that affects the performance of the machine. Does anyone know what the problem could be?
Edit: There is also a high-pitched noise when pressing on the foot pedal and rotating the tyre tray.
