Just accepted a new job

Hi hello. I just accepted my first mechanical job ever. However not gonna lie the thing that terrifies me the most is the two-post lifts and using them. I've seen too many posts of dropped cars.
Any tips and tricks to help calm the nerves using them would be great! Thank you in advance.
