I am on the lookout for the lightest weight 2mm lead holders. I use them for sketching and am looking to get as close as possible to the feel of a freshly sharpened wooden pencil.
I prefer traditional pencils in feel but once they’re sharpened halfway down, even pencil holders just don’t do the trick.
So far I’ve tried:
Uni Field - mid weight and nice grip. Staedler 925 - Super solid like a good thin-lead drafting pencil, but like those too heavy. Kitaboshi - my favorite so far but still much heavier than a wooden pencil.
