Key programming 09 Mitsubishi Galant

As the title says, been trying to program a new car key fob since I lost my old one. Currently with a Nissan dealership and best advice I got was to use one of my coworkers snap on scan tool. So far I’ve been able to start the car at the very least but I am looking for advice on how to get the unlock/lock/etc buttons to work. YouTube hasn’t been much help and neither is alldata
