Post Body

Hey guys, I'm ready to pull the trigger on a decent stainless bucket since the glassware I got the first time was defective (growing fractures despite no abuse...)

I asked a bit about trub valves to catch the goop in a jar, and you replied with a resounding "useless". So, alternatively, I see a lot of models with valves for racking. Are there pros/cons to using these over a regular siphon to rack from the top? I'm curious if they'll really keep above the lees-line effectively.
