Question about fresh fruit juice

Just got some farm fresh squeezed pear juice from a co worker. It's unfiltered so it looks a little weird but it tastes amazing. Should I boil and or filter it before making mead with it? I have a half gallon of it and I wanted to make a one gallon batch of a pear capsicumel.
