Local Honey in Northern Virginia

Post Body

After a few years of homebrewing beer, I've decided that I want to take a stab at a mead. Unfortunately I'm coming at this with little familiarity with honey suppliers and I've had little luck in my searches this far. Right now the supplier I'm in touch with has said his rate is about $6.33 per lb (specifically he is charging $19 per quart). I'm not sure if part of that price tag accounts for the container it comes in, but in any event that seems to be significantly higher than what I've seen people getting it for on this subreddit. Do you guys have any recommendations for honey suppliers in the northern Virginia area?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
