I made a mistake i didnt noted how much i put in maple sirup inside... I only used my hydrometer to calculate all. Now my hydrometer broke im using my refractometer but... He dont work correctly.. I cant see the blue line its faded...
Sone time ago i made a maple mead, but it was too much ABV, i asked community and one gave me a great idea to made one with less ABV and mix them up after.
Then i made the second, it was with a starting of 1.032 OG, normally to make a 5% very sweet with a final in Backsweetening of 1.020
On the first batch i used 3'169 gr of maple sirup. I didnt noted the Backsweetening because i had the hydrometer...
The second batch when it stopped had 0.993(2 brix)
Knowing the imprecision of the stuff i have, i will try to put into sweet instead of very sweet. Then the final need to be 1.010.
Now my question is: How much maple sirop i need to put inside to reach 1.010?
I will be gratefull of all of you for thus answer, tomorrow i have a birthday of a good friend i wanted to give one bottle for him.
