Organic Chemistry has never been my favorite STEM subject, so I sort of slacked off while taking it my sophomore year. I got a B for the Organic Chemistry I, and I decided to pass/fail Organic Chemistry II last spring because of COVID since I did not believe I was in a good mental state to deal with it (I got As for all the other classes the same semester though). My GPA has shown a great upward trend since my freshman year (I'm a junior now). I have not studied for the MCAT yet (planning to take a gap year or two doing research after graduation), but I did surprisingly well for a chemistry sample test just for fun last time, so I wonder if I get a high MCAT score with a high score on chemistry would that be good enough to make up for my concerning grades for Org Chem?
