Hi, I'm the owner of Nathan Classic. We are a 1.8 Spigot server with a medium-sized community that is looking for mature players to join us!

The reason the server is called Nathan Classic is because our Creative map is taken from a now defunct server, NathanIT. NathanIT was an Australia-based Creative server that was online for many years and it was hosted by Nathan Brand who unfortunately passed away in early 2014. Both me and another former member of NathanIT, Vuongot, took it upon ourselves to bring back the spirit of NathanIT in a new server. And so, Nathan Classic was born.

Our main game modes are Freebuild Creative, Survival with some plugins and Minigames along with Adventure(WIP), Parkour, Server Events and more! When you first log into our server you'll be greeted by our hub that has a wealth of information about the server. The hub has sign portals that will take you to whichever world you are wanting to go to.

Our Creative gamemode has both terrain and flat maps available, we have multiple different kinds of grief protection so your builds are guaranteed to be safe, and you can obtain WorldEdit with rankups! Members who first join will be somewhat limited in the items that they can utilize in Creative in efforts to help prevent griefing.

Our Survival gamemode has a few plugins to improve the experience like McMMO, LWC, and more. There are lots of towns, shops and various other things to see all over the survival map so go out there and explore! If you enjoy Anarchy PVP, use "/warp anarchy" to access our Anarchy PVP map where there are only a few rules (Griefing and raiding etc is allowed). We allow players to build anywhere they like on these maps, there are no borders or build limitations as long as you don't build directly on or next to someone else's build without their permission! There are lots of planned features for our server and you can find an outline of the major ones on our subreddit!

Our minigames world currently consists of Mob Arena and Chess, and The Walls. We also have a few other attractions like a roller coaster and fairground area and we're working to build the map up and add more minigames for you to enjoy! We are planning both a Zombie Survival and Adventure map currently and are looking to add some more minigames as well.

The server is hosted in Virginia so players in or near the US will experience the least amount of lag, if any. We have had a large volume of players come and go on Nathan Classic but we do have a solid playerbase with active, mature and helpful people, both staff and non-staff. We're looking to expand the community so if you're looking for a medium-sized server with a tight community, this is the right place for you! The players on the server are mostly made up of my real life friends, redditors I have recruited and players from NathanIT, and we would love to find more cool people who are into playing MP Minecraft peacefully and without drama!
