Welcome to The Realms! We're a CivCraft-like server, in that we welcome politics and nation building and we have a custom 14k by 13k world for you to play in, with access to the nether as well. Utilizing Reddit as our forums, we have a wide collection of posts about the world and the nations in it, if you want to check it out here. In trying to foster a mature community, we have an adult dev team and moderator team and have policies set to avoid petty drama. We do have similar plugins to CivCraft and CivEx (citadel, to protect your items, bastion, factorymod, jukealert) but also feature new plugins and add an interesting twist to gameplay! A few prominent plugins include:
* Movecraft: Ships! That move? And work?! Check and check. Even better? You can make ships that can fly.
* Diseases: cough A new sense of realism to the world, making the world more difficult and changing the way you prepare to explore the world.
* Professsions: Very similar to Jobs, but tailered more to our server (as we do not have a common currency), as you level one of these up - not something you can do in a day or a week - you'll gain new abilities that do not take away from vanilla minecraft but add items to the server, to help create a new economy that requires specialization and not just being too lazy to build or craft something. ;)
* Gods: One of the things we want to include on the server is roleplay and lore. This means that our server has some basic lore and three gods that have altars in the world, for you to pray to. They have stories behind them. Will you create a city around a god? Or worship a new god? It's not required to be part of your gameplay, but it is a fun addition. (Nothing more funny than marrying someone and your god complaining it will ruin your devotion!)
* RealisticBiomes: In addition to our custom map (which has custom ore generation, making it so that ores can only be found in certain locations), we've made it so that plants are far more difficult to grow and can only be grown in certain biomes. For example, potatoes grow exceptionally well in colder regions, but wheat can only be grown where the weather is more temperate. Crop growth is now based in real time, not in-game ticks. This means that crops might take an hour or a day to grow, in real time. It makes food more sparse and something you need to work hard to get.

Here are the rules to our server.
When you join the world, you will have a random spawn, so it could be anywhere! Your voice can travel a radius of 500 blocks, to see who else is nearby. I personally recommend downloading VoxelMap and making a boat and mapping out the world, and hunting down food. Hint: You don't lose hunger in a boat. WHOO!

We'd love to see you on the server. We've been open for a week, and generally have anywhere from five to twenty five people on the server at a time. Fixing bugs, but that's about it. Feel free to message any of the staff team (Megans_ and TheZantid are the dev team, and Techsensai and Abusted are the moderator team) if you have any questions or problems.
