Hello, I am Jellypants. I am a mayor, along with my friend Tomzski, of a town called Yowie.
You may remember us from Rev 11. We had some troubles this past rev, but we are now returning for Rev 13 with a bit of a plan, and we are looking for many more people to help bring it into reality. The entire plan isn't really laid out on our subreddit, so I'm not going to tell you to just go there, but I will link it later on.
Anyway, our main inspiration is going to be Amsterdam. We're not going to try to build a replica of it or anything, but we're going to have canals all through the city, and a bit of a mix of modern and oldish style buildings. There will be several areas to build in, with a different sort of building in each of them. There will be an area to build a personal house, a shop, a skyscraper, a block of apartments, and anything else we can think of. Possibly a red light district if we have the time and resources.
The canals will be made of brick, and most of the buildings will have some stained clay in them, if they're not entirely made out of it. This presents the problem of finding enough clay to actually fulfill our needs. Therefore, we'll be requiring lots of assistance with acquiring the massive amounts we'll need, and will happily be trading whatever we can to get it.
We'll probably be settling somewhere in the northeast again, possibly on the nearest river to Argoth.
Hopefully we, and the whole server, will be active in spleef again. However, that would entail actually finishing a stadium, which seems to be a problem for me.
We will be making a return to the original Yowie style of having trees and nice little park areas everywhere. The whole city will be covered in greenery.
/r/yowie is our subreddit
I can probably come up with some more things to say, but I think I'll end it here. Hopefully I at least mildly piqued your interest in our small town. If you don't have any interest in building with us, any clay donations would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much for reading.
