I just wanted to give the community an update and an opportunity to provide feedback.

Last night there was a thread relating to suicide. It was reported at least twice.

As the comments in the thread were attempting to provide helpful advice and referrals to a number of services the thread was left up.

There were at least two moderators actively monitoring the thread and negative advice was removed by moderators. The moderators also sought out assistance from r/suicidewatch.

The thread has been deleted by the OP.
