Okay, so the last thread seems to have been derailed by people volunteering to moderate, which is fine, however that does nothing to define the shape of the mod team so....
Any comments volunteering in this thread will be deleted (feel free to do so in the other thread).
We need to answer the following questions.
How would you like these moderators to be chosen?
Is diversity in the moderation team important to you?
Would you prefer the mod team to be larger or smaller?
Anything you would like to see changed?
If there is not some serious input the following will likely happen:
This shit would continue to be run as a benevolent dictatorship.
3-6 new mods will be added, as having too many at this point is not really a thing. Two new mods would be U0s. The new mods would chosen so that the mod team had a relative diversity of personality types, programs etc.
Each new mod will be on probation until they do X. X will be assigned to them. Things will include:
- Organizing a fall meetup
- Getting in contact with someone from McGill Mental Health Services (or whatever it is called) to do an AMA. Other potential AMA's would include someone from Shag Shop, Sexperts, and Service Point.
- ... who knows
