Let's talk about grips and inferior functions in general
Post Body

So, I've doing some research and observation, and I've noticed that, usually, people tend to start getting used to their inferior function in an age-span of 18 to at least 25yo.

I even listed some examples, and some examples of this not happening.

For 2 inferior Fe users, a INTP and a ISTP (my brother), I noticed both started having an easier time attending to others emotional needs and knowing what people expect they to do. They still have difficulty wielding Fe, but they tend to do it more effectively. I, however, know another INTP who loathes her Fe, and perceive it as a weakness and totally unnecessary, but all the while want to use it more.

This is just an example, I have more if you want, but most of them are more theory than facts.

So, grips. What is your experience with them? And your thoughts/feelings?

I think and read that when people grip, they start behaving like an unhealthy version of their opposite type. For example, a INTJ gripping would start to look like a ESFP in a very unhealthy way. I had very few inferior Se grips, but I can recall some of them, most of the times I get very emotional, angry and do things on impulse, hurt people I'm supposed to care about just because I'm stressed and hurt emotionally. I also want to do new and random things, like get drunk, and get overly emotional while it. I also have a wild theory that while gripping, people can also enter their opposite type loops, becoming a living conduit of unhealthiness.

Sooo, how do you feel about grips and your inferior function in general?
