I thought that after closing the Green Line for almost 2 weeks there wouldn’t be anymore blatant issues and speed restrictions. Taking the C line from Englewood to Gov Center this morning, and the opposite way in the evening, nothing changed! What was done for the last two weeks then? The first morning car (around 8:55am) just went passed Englewood because it only had two cars and there were too many people waiting, after 15 mins of everyone waiting. The next one came after 5 minutes, ok. Then there were speed restrictions throughout the ride, from Englewood to Gov Center. The train never hit full speed. So again, what was done?
At night, on the way back (~7:45pm), we spent 20 minutes (might even been longer!) stuck on the C line not moving because the conductor was saying that a train was stuck at Copley. Again, what was done for the past two weeks? This is not my complaint over two weeks of commute, it’s one day!
Get it together MBTA, please. All I can do as a rider is give you my money and be your customer, and advocate for the importance of a functioning public transit system, I can’t actually take ownership and fix the technical and planning issues happening in your organization, that’s on your teams whose job is to do that.
