Uncertainty over '07 headlights on an '06

I drive an '06 and bought a pair of '07 headlights from a private seller. There's four issues I noticed after installing my driver side:

1: The plastic bit on the inner side of the headlight isn't long enough to latch inside of the hole on my stock lower headlight bracket

2: The two upper mounting bolt holes don't match up as closely as I'd like to the ones on the frame

3: The outer side of the '07 headlight isn't flush with the body

4: My left turn signal now blinks faster since installing the new headlight

Any idea on what I may have done wrong? Or any advice for what I could do to fix these issues? Thank you
