I've followed a lot of the posts regarding the rough idle issues the 3 has. I've seen a lot of helpful suggestions, but haven't seen a lot of responses of solutions that have actually solved the problem for anyone.

My Mazda 3 has been rough idling for years, but it seems to be getting worse (sometimes throws the power steering light on for a sec) and feels like it will just stall.

At one appt a few months back, the battery was accidentally and improperly disconnected (which temp caused a whole other issue of repeatedly stalling all the way home), and I had seen that as a possible fix, however, unfortunately it didn't solve the issue on my car.

Has anyone found a solution that actually did fix the issue? Would love to either try something that has worked or take it to my mechanic with suggestions that they could try.
