Hi guys, I hope you all are doing great!
I sold my Miata and need to buy something a little (or a lot) more practical. The Mazdaspeed 3 seems like a perfect choice to me, in terms of styling (I love the 2010 design ethos), and performance.
I found a 2010 Speed 3 on Offerup and the seller agreed to $4,000. It has 192,400 miles, and retains the stock engine and turbo (the only upgrades are an AEM intake and "exhaust", although I could find no reference of an AEM exhaust online). Allegedly, there was a front end collision and the bumper, hood, and passenger side fender were replaced (matte black parts vs gloss black exterior but I don't really care about that). The car still has a clean title. I'm planning to get a pre purchase inspection at a Mazda mechanic near me who seems very reliable (my Miata's previous owner had his car serviced there).
What do you guys think? Am I making a mistake, or missing something here? Being a high schooler, I want to avoid being taken advantage of due to my age. Thank you so much!
