Is anyone else disappointed by the "new" CX-5? I just bought a used 2021 Grand Touring, and by some UNFORESEEN circumstances with another vehicle, am back on the market. Mazda was a first choice because I love the CX5 I got, but am seriously underwhelmed by the 24 models.
We're not looking at too many other vehicles, but are considering the Subaru Crosstrek and Honda CRV.. a weird grouping of vehicles for sure.
Should I copy and paste, or branch out?
You're not going to like the CRV or the Crosstrek. Both use CVT transmissions and are unbearable to drive. Plus, they both feel very cheap. The CX5 drives and feels like a much more expensive car.

I couldn't do it! I test drove so many others, from Forester and CRV to more expensive models like XC60 and Q3, but I always came back to yet another CX5. Nothing else hit that sweet spot of comfort, quality, and value.
