2017 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring (<50k)
TPMS light came on this afternoon, so I checked the tire pressure and found one tire had a slow leak and was down to about 20 psi. I refilled tire, it took air, topped off the others, secured the caps. Came out again in the evening intending to run an errand: TPSM still on (to be expected) but now Check Engine Light on (solid orange).
My question is if Mazda's can have an Engine Light come on for TPSM issues, because that's the only thing I can think of. Unless anyone else has ideas for what I can check? I'm supposed to take my car to the tire shop tomorrow to get a warranty patch on that one with the slow leak and since my Mazda service dept isn't open on the weekends, I'm wondering if I'm ok to run that errand or if there's anything I should try before doing so. Ironically, my scheduled maintenance and oil change appointment is Tuesday.
My last Mazda was a 1990 Mazda 626, so all this fancy computer stuff has really got me stumped LOL. Thank you all!
Edit: just to cover my bases, gas is full, cap is on tight, and I drove slowly to my mom's house a few blocks away and the TPSM is off, but solid engine light persists.
