So...working around the idea that Maura got into a car with someone. Question is, who would she have trusted enough to get into a car with? Unless a friend had been following her it’s highly unlikely that she knew the person. So...if it wasn’t someone she knew then it had to be someone she would’ve trusted, right? A police officer? AAA? Seeing that she denied BA calling cops though, I would think her mindset had to have been just to get out of there as quickly as possible. Seems more likely that she would’ve been more receptive to jump in with someone capable of assisting with her car repair and getting her back on the road ASAP.

Has the possibility that she actually got into a tow truck been ruled out? Weren’t there two different tow companies called to the scene that night? If not a tow driver, are there any other potential suspects that would fit this profile? Mechanic type? Just a thought.
