Post Body

Hi,

I'm new to matrix, but not new to computer systems. As an engineer and architect I've learned to design and build to keep services running. Is there any information or a guide on how to setup at least two nodes that are in sync with each other, in a active-passive mode or active-active mode ?

For example: I have a server running at home. For some reason it goes down, power outage or internet disconnect or hardware failure. How can I make sure that a second server hosted elsewhere takes over without my client even noticing a disconnect ?
