Is it worth keeping notebooks full of textbook exercises?

I'm sure we all have these, and I've definitely developed a few stacks of random notebooks filled with exercises, class notes, etc.
Has anyone found any reason to keep these?
I feel bad to throw them away since they contain a lot of work that I did, but on the other hand do I really need them?
I have also thought about looking through them and cataloging any cool problems, proofs, notes, etc. either by scanning them to PDF, typesetting some bits in LaTeX, or entering in some note-taking app like Obsidian.
How do y'all manage your handwritten notes over the course of time?
