If given a set of points, how does one go about finding a function that will hit all of those points?

For example, if given the points (-1, 5), (0,1), (1,4), (2,9), (3,10), and (4,7), what is a function that will give all of those values and how is one found? Since end behavior does not matter, I would guess that there is an infinite amount of functions that will work, but how can one be found?
Piecewise functions are not allowed.
