The answers to this riddle/math question still puzzles me. Can someone help understand.

It's the one with 3 doors. I'll give a variation of my own but with all elements intact.
You are at a game show and 3 doors are presented in front of you. Behind 2 doors are goats and behind another one is a sportscar. You are asked to select one door. After choosing they open up one door which is revealed to be a goat. They then ask you if you want to switch.
The answer is that you're supposed to switch because the chances become 66% other door, 33% your door. Why isn't it 50/50?
