Is there a something like the elo algorithm for tournaments?
Post Body

as I understand it, the elo algorithm, in cases where two players are contesting, gives an expected score for each player. An expected probability that each one will win.

I would like to know, is there something similar but for more players than that. Like if you had a tournament with say 36 players. Is there an algorithm that could assign each player an expected score based on the relative win/loss histories of each of the other 35 players?
